How to Play Word Scramble

A scrambled word appears on screen. Your job is to unscramble it and type the correct word before the 60-second timer runs out. Every correct answer earns you points — shorter words are worth 1 point, 5–6 letter words earn 2 points, and words of 7+ letters earn a bonus 3 points. Use the Skip button to pass on a difficult word, and Hint to reveal the first letter. Beat your personal best and challenge friends to do the same!

Tips to Improve Your Score

• Look for common prefixes like UN-, RE-, PRE- to quickly identify word structure
• Common suffixes like -ING, -TION, -ED, -ER often appear — spot them first
• Don't waste time on a hard word — use Skip and come back to momentum
• Short words (3–4 letters) are faster to recognize and worth consistent points
• Practice regularly — pattern recognition improves with every game!
